These Terms are also available in Chinese. In case of any discrepancy between language versions, this English version prevails.
These Terms govern your use of the Hera app ("the app"), provided by Zhuhai Yuejiajun Technology Co., Ltd. (珠海跃嘉竣科技有限公司) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Hera records audio you choose to capture (in-app or via a paired recording device), transcribes it, and uses AI to build a searchable personal memory (contacts, facts, to-dos, summaries) and to answer questions based on your own content.
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or phone number. Keep access to that email/phone secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Hera.
You retain all rights to your recordings, transcripts and content derived from them. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process and transmit that content — including to the third-party AI and cloud providers listed in the Privacy Policy — solely to operate and provide the service. We do not sell your content and do not use it for advertising.
Laws on recording conversations differ by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required by law before recording other people. We may suspend accounts used for unlawful recording.
You must not use Hera to break the law or infringe others' rights; probe, disrupt or overload the service; attempt to extract our models, prompts or other users' data; reverse engineer the app except as permitted by law; or resell access to the service.
Transcripts and AI-generated answers are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or misattributed. They do not constitute professional (legal, medical, financial or other) advice. Verify important information before relying on it.
You can delete your account in-app (Settings → Delete Account): the account is immediately deactivated; during a 15-day recovery window you may restore it by signing in; after that window all your data is permanently deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms, giving notice where practicable.
The app, its software and branding belong to Zhuhai Yuejiajun Technology Co., Ltd. or its licensors. These Terms grant you only a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the app; no other rights are granted.
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law; if you are a consumer in the UK or EU, your statutory rights are unaffected.
We may update the app and these Terms. We will notify you of material changes in-app or by email; continued use after the new effective date constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at https://api.heraai.co/legal/terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory protections of the law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
